You are about to trust a week of your life to a stranger with a boat. You deserve to know what we actually found when we went. So when a place disappoints us, we publish that too — the score, the date, the criteria, right where you can read them. The operator sees it before you do and can correct a fact. They can never make it disappear.
No one can pay us for a better score. Money buys a listing here, never a rating — which is exactly why, when you see a 9, you can build a morning around it.

Most directories quietly imply every listing is endorsed. We show you exactly how far each operator has got — and when the next check is due — so you know what has been verified before you book.
You won’t book a ghost
Registered business, licences where required, trading under the name on the sign. Everyone here has passed this before you ever see them. It tells you they are legitimate — not yet that they are good.
We’ve stood on the boat
We turn up in person and look at what you would be paying for — the rooms, the boat, the gear, the state of everything. We score it and photograph it ourselves, on the day. What you see is what we saw.
How they treat you when no one is watching
Someone books like any other customer, pays full price, and says nothing. A visit they know about shows us the place. Only a visit they do not shows us how they will treat you.
The best morning of your trip is run by someone the internet has never heard of.
Somewhere out there is a dive boat run by a family who have read the same reef for thirty years, and a guesthouse where dinner comes out of the owner’s kitchen. They have no marketing budget, no SEO, no interest in bidding for your attention. On a commission-driven platform they lose to whoever pays more. Not to whoever would give you the better week.
So we go and find them, check they are who they say they are, and put them where you can find them too. You book with them directly. No commission on what you pay them, no booking fee, nobody standing between you. What you pay is what they get.
